Sam and Ava see palm trees growing near a wide, flowing river. A friendly boy named Rami waves and says, “Welcome to the River Nile!” He shows them how people use the river water to help plants grow. Page 3 They walk along the riverbank and find tall reeds. Rami explains, “We use these reeds to make papyrus, a special paper for writing.” Ava gently touches the soft green stems. Page 4 Next, Rami leads them to a huge pyramid. It points high into the sky. “Pharaoh Khufu built this long ago,” says Rami. “Our people believe the pharaoh is very important.” Page 5 Inside the pyramid, they see stone walls covered with hieroglyphs, the ancient Egyptian way of writing. Pictures of birds, eyes, and shapes tell stories about the pharaoh’s life. Page 6 They quietly walk into a room with a sarcophagus, a big stone box that holds a mummy. “This mummy was once a great ruler,” says Rami. Sam and Ava feel a little scared, but also very curious! Page 7 At midday, they visit the busy market. People trade goods like wheat, dates, and cloth. “We use boats to carry our goods along the Nile,” explains Rami. Sam and Ava see bright, woven baskets full of fruit. Page 8 It is time to say goodbye. Rami waves. “Come again!” Sam and Ava open the magic book and zoom back home. Their hearts are full of wonder at all they have learned about Ancient Egypt.

Brandon shared stories with Barkley about their new house. It has a pool and a big back yard for them to play. Barkley was sad, he was going to miss all his neighborhood friends. He wondered if he would have any new friends at his new house. What if Brandon made new friends? What if the house was too small and there was no room for a puppy? Tomorrow was moving day and a new chapter for the family. Dad, mom, Brandon and Barkley jumped in the car and headed to the new house. The moving truck was right behind. As they pulled into the new neighborhood Barkley's eyes got big, it was a big house! Brandon and Barkley jumped out of the car as soon as dad pull into the driveway. They ran through the front door and stopped and looked at each other. Barkley began barking and running in circles, so much room to play!!!! As Brandon opened the back door Barkley ran and jumped in the pool!!! SPLASH! WOOF WOOF!! I love my new house!!!! Barkley stepped out of the pool soaking wet and he began to shake getting Brandon all wet. They laughed and Brandon gave him a big hug. You will always be my best friend Barkley!!!

A four year old loves to play with his parents, he likes cars, dinosaurs, blocks, coloring and playing outside But everytime he tells his dad to come play with him, he does but after a bit he starts using the phone "Daddy put the phone down and play with me" He goes to his mom and says the same thing "Mommy put the phone down and play with me" This happens time after time and parents dont realize how important it is to share time with their kids without using technology.

Cooper goes to Disneyland with momma, daddy, papa and yaya! When they arrive they go to a Disney character breakfast and take a family photo with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Cooper gets their signatures in his autograph book and momma takes a picture of Mickey giving Cooper a hug. They then go ride Astro orbiters and buzz lightyear. They watch the Disney parade and buzz lightyear waves to Cooper. They ride a pirate ship to Tom Sawyer’s island and a group of pirates sing to the, “yo ho yo go a pirates life for me!” They climb a tree house where a little girl is lost. They help her find her family and she is happy again. Cooper dances at the Disney Jr. Dance Party and Doc Mc Stuff-ins fixes frosty by making it snow at the dance party! Cooper and Momma ride Maters junk yard jamboree and laugh a lot! Cooper gets to eat a big chocolate ice cream cone he is so happy. They end the day by Cooper running on a grassy hill listening to live music at down town Disney. It was such a magical day.
