A Children's Storybook Page 1 A long time ago in Israel, there was a kind woman named Hannah. She loved God very much, but she was sad because she had no children. Every year, she went to the temple to pray. Page 2 One day, with tears in her eyes, Hannah prayed, “Lord, if You give me a son, I will give him back to You to serve You all his life.” Page 3 The priest, Eli, saw Hannah praying and said, “May God grant your request.” Hannah believed in God’s promise and left the temple full of hope. Page 4 God answered Hannah’s prayer! She gave birth to a baby boy and named him Samuel, which means “God has heard.” She loved him dearly. Page 5 When Samuel was old enough, Hannah kept her promise. She brought him to the temple and said to Eli, “God has blessed me with a son, and now I give him back to serve the Lord.” Page 6 Samuel grew up in the temple, learning from Eli. One night, he heard a voice calling, “Samuel! Samuel!” He thought Eli was calling him, but Eli said, “I did not call you. Go back to sleep.” Page 7 The voice called again, and again Samuel ran to Eli. But Eli realized it was God speaking to Samuel! He told Samuel, “Say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.’” Page 8 Samuel listened, and God spoke to him. From that night on, Samuel became a great prophet, guiding Israel and teaching them to follow God. Page 9 Hannah’s faith and promise led to Samuel becoming one of the greatest leaders of Israel. And through it all, she was thankful, knowing that God had answered her prayer. Page 10 “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my request.” – 1 Samuel 1:27

Lily was a little lamb who liked to play in the green meadows with her friends. All day she would run, jump, and chase butterflies. But one afternoon, as she played near the edge of the field, she spotted a bright red flower in the distance. “I’ll be right back!” she yelled to her friends as she sprinted toward it. But the more she walked, the more distant the flower became. Soon, Lily glanced around and realized that she was lost. The tall trees seemed to close in around her, and she could no longer see her home. Lily began to cry. “Shepherd! Where are you?” she called but did not receive an answer. Then she heard a familiar voice in the distance. It was the Good Shepherd, calling her name! “Lily! Where are you?” “I’m here!” she cried, her little heart filled with hope. The Shepherd rushed to her side, cradling her in His arms. “You just wandered away, my child,” He smiled. “But I have found you, and I am taking you home.” Lily cuddled up close to feel safe and loved. When they came back to the meadow, all her friends cheered. The Shepherd smiled and replied, “I will never stop looking for my lost sheep and bringing them back home.” So from that day forward, Lily, among the flock with the Shepherd, knew He would always love and protect her. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” —Psalm 23:1

Finding items that are different and opposite of each other

Once upon a time, there was a little bird on a farm. His feathers were messy, and he felt sad because he looked different from the other birds. The little bird watched the other birds playing and having fun every day. He wished he could join them, but he felt too shy and unsure of himself. One sunny day, the farmer's daughters came to the farm. ALEENA AND MALIA saw the little bird sitting alone and looking sad. The girls smiled kindly and said, "You may look different, but you are special in your way." The little bird felt a glimmer of hope. He decided to try joining the other birds in their games. At first, the other birds laughed and teased him. But the little bird didn't give up. He kept trying, and soon he found his confidence. With each day that passed, the little bird grew stronger and happier. He realized that it didn't matter what he looked like on the outside. What mattered most was the courage and kindness he had inside. And so, the once sad little bird became known as the brave little bird, inspiring others to believe in themselves just as he had. One bright sunny day up at the cabin, Waylon wanted to go on an hiking adventure. across flowers that were yellow, blue, pink, orange and purple. Along the way in the magical forest, we saw ants, grasshoppers, and colorful butterflies. The birds were singing to us as we walked the trail. We came across heather-filled meadows showcasing summer alpine wildflowers, blueberries, and huckleberries. There were black bears eating blueberries on the side of the trail. The sun was shining, and the air was clear and crisp. We talked about all of the plants, insects, and animals we saw on are adventure up the mountain. Papa was very proud that Waylon wanted to share his adventures with him. On are way down the mountain we laughed and played in the forest. We climbed trees and large rocks as we were hiking down. We talked about our next great adventure and how much we love each other and the playground that Mother nature has provided for us.

Write a book about the boys love for the grandfather, they love how he picks them every thursday evening, takes them to the supermarket to buy whatever they want and then goes to the farm, they love praying with him, hugging him and playing with him, they also love getting doghnuts with him.
