One sunny afternoon, Mia was walking home from school when she heard a soft meowing sound. She stopped and looked around. Under a bush, she saw a small, gray kitten. The kitten looked scared and hungry. Mia knelt down and gently called to the kitten. At first, the kitten was afraid, but slowly, it came out. Mia carefully picked it up and saw that it had no collar. “You must be lost,” she said kindly. Mia decided to take the kitten home. Her mother helped her give it some milk and made a soft bed for it. They also put up posters around the neighborhood, hoping to find the owner. The next day, a little boy named Ben saw one of the posters. He hurried to Mia’s house. “That’s my kitten, Whiskers!” he said excitedly. Mia smiled and handed Whiskers to Ben. She felt happy that she had helped the lost kitten find its home.

The day of the interview, the director was late and half of them didn’t bring their portfolio, which is necessary for the application. Those five decide to take their time to go back to the school to get the portfolio since the director is late. But once they arrive, the other ha;f students have already done the interview, and there are no spots left for the trip.

Of course, it was just his own reflection, but Avery didn’t know that. “I want that fish too!” he thought greedily, dropping the fish from his mouth into the water as he tried to snatch the one he saw below. SPLASH! The fish fell into the stream and swam away, leaving Avery with nothing. His big, shiny fish was gone, and so was the reflection he had mistaken for another prize. Avery sat by the stream, sad and hungry. When he returned to the docks, the fishermen had packed up and left, and there were no more fish to be found. Avery realised that his greed had cost him his meal. From that day on, Avery learned an important lesson: being greedy can make you lose what you already have. He still loved fish, but he never took more than he needed again.
