His friend, Bud, saw him from the swing. “Wait for me, Gus!” Bud called, swinging high. Gus waited. “Come on, Bud! It’s fun!” Bud jumped off the swing and ran to join Gus. Together, they stood at the edge of the puddle. “On the count of three, let’s jump!” said Gus. “Okay!” Bud nodded. “One… Two… Three!” They both jumped into the muddy puddle. Splash! Mud flew everywhere! “Look at us!” Gus laughed. “We’re muddy buddies!” Just then, a little dog named Pup came over. He tilted his head and barked, “Woof! What are you doing?” “We’re having a muddy fun time!” Bud said, splashing more mud. Pup wagged his tail. “I want to join!” Gus and Bud laughed. “Okay, Pup! Jump in!” Pup jumped right into the puddle, sending mud flying. They all rolled and played until they were covered in mud from head to toe. After a while, they decided it was time to clean up. “Let’s go back to my house,” said Gus. “We can wash off in the tub!” When they got to Gus's house, his mom chuckled at the sight of the muddy friends. “Oh my! What happened to you three?” “We had the best fun in the puddle!” Gus exclaimed, grinning. His mom smiled and filled the tub with warm water. “Alright, muddy buddies, it’s bath time!” After their bath, Gus, Bud, and Pup sat together on the porch, drying off in the sun. “That was the best day ever!” Bud said. “Let’s do it again tomorrow!” Gus replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Page 4: XL explained, "We have to be careful what we say, because our words show what's in our hearts." "So we need to clean our hearts first?" Osh asked. Page 5: "Yes," Jesus said. "If we have kindness and love in our hearts, our words will be kind and loving too." "Like saying sorry when I'm wrong?" Ish asked. Page 6: "Exactly," XL smiled. "And complimenting Osh on his drawings?" "Even if they look like scribbles?" Ish giggled. Page 7: "Everyone makes mistakes," Jesus said gently. "But it's important to learn from them and try to be better." Page 8: "So, washing our hands is still important?" Osh asked, wanting to be sure. "Yes," XL chuckled, "We need clean hands and clean hearts!" Page 9: Osh and Ish thought about this. They realized that being kind and choosing kind words was just as important as washing their hands. Page 10: "From now on, I'll try to use my words to make others happy, not sad," Osh declared. Page 11: "Me too!" Ish chimed in. "Let's spread kindness, not germs!" They all laughed. And I kind of figure out how to get by in the game. Eventually tho it just gets to be to much and the padding breaks down and I just stop showing up. That’s where I am now. Just hiding. Although they would only fit in the palm of his hand, they would be a true work of craftsmanship. So, Matt set out on a journey. Giant Matt spent days and nights tinkering about to create his tiny palm bikes. Alas, one day after countless hours of tinkering, Giant Matt finally had the best of the best tiny toy bicycle! He was so proud of his creation! So proud, in fact, that he couldn't just let it sit in his giant palm and look pretty. "This tiny bike must serve a better purpose" thought Matt allowed to his shop kitty. Then, as if a sign from the universe, a small human creature passed in front of his shop. "What is this tiny creature?!" Exclaimed Matt. Matt quickly ran after the small creature. Once Giant Matt reached the creature, he realized that he was wrong--this wasn't a tiny creature, it was a real boy! "A real boy who can enjoy a tiny bicylce his size?" Thought Matt. He opened his palm and handed the small boy the ticketed bicycle. To Gaint Matt's joy, the bicycle was the right size for this real human boy!
