The telling of the Purim story. The story will be told to a young child. The basic premise is as follows: King Ahasuerus' Feast: Persian King Ahasuerus (Xerxes I) throws a grand feast. Queen Vashti Banished: Queen Vashti refuses to appear before the king, so he deposes her. Esther Becomes Queen: A Jewish woman, Esther, is chosen as the new queen, but she keeps her Jewish identity secret. Haman’s Rise & Plot: Haman, the king’s advisor, hates the Jew Mordecai (Esther’s cousin) for not bowing to him and convinces the king to issue a decree to kill all Jews. Mordecai & Esther’s Plan: Mordecai urges Esther to speak to the king to save her people, despite the risk. Esther’s Courage: Esther hosts two banquets and finally reveals to the king that she is Jewish and that Haman is plotting against her people. Haman’s Downfall: The king, enraged, orders Haman to be hanged on the gallows Haman had built for Mordecai. Jews Saved & Victory Celebrated: The king allows the Jews to defend themselves, leading to their victory over their enemies. Purim Established: A joyous festival is declared to commemorate their survival.

Tiana is out in the swamp with her dog, Scout, when she notices something strange. The water is dark and filled with trash. Some trees are wilting, and there are fewer birds than usual. Concerned, she heads home and tells her mom, who explains that the swamp is an important part of their town’s ecosystem and warns Tiana to keep an eye on it, especially with nearby construction. With Tiana’s leadership, they restore the swamp’s beauty by planting trees, removing trash, and ensuring the wildlife can thrive.

He had a shiny cape and could fly! Just then, a gust of wind blew open the garden gate, and William's favorite toy, Mr. Bear, rolled into the street. "Oh no!" cried William. But Super Sunny was ready. With a swift swoop, he soared through the air and caught Mr. Bear just in time. He brought the toy back to William, who hugged Sunny tightly. "Thank you, Super Sunny!" said William, his eyes wide with wonder. The family came outside and cheered. "Hooray for Super Sunny!" they exclaimed. From that day on, Sunny knew he was always ready to help and protect his best friend, William. And every adventure they had together was full of magic and love. And so, William and Super Sunny lived happily ever after, discovering new wonders every day.

The children want to start collecting plastic bottle tops to recycle with Lids4Kids. They meet a nice volunteer who will drive their lids to Canberra for them. Then they send a letter home to their families and ask them to collect plastic bottle tops from milk bottles, pop bottles and water bottles. The children enjoy washing the lids in warm soapy water with their family (and pet dog). Next week all the children bring in a bag of lids each. Together they group the lids into colour groups. The nice volunteer pick them up and takes them to Lids4Kids in Canberra. The lids are then turned into a rainbow colored park bench. The teacher surprises the children by buying the rainbow park bench for their playground.

A little girl named Chloe talks to God and knows she was made perfect by Him. Others tell her she is a boy because she doesn't like to wear dresses or play with dolls. She likes to climb trees and play with her dogs and splash in the mud. They say she should talk to a doctor and become a boy. She doesn't want to. She knows she is a girl, but she is starting to feel confused. She doesn't want to talk to anybody but God about it and He is telling her she is perfect the way she is, and she is a girl. She chooses to stay the way she is and looses some friends because of it. She was sad about that for a while but she made some new friends who also talk to God and is now very happy that she listened to God and not to what people told her.
