Adventures in Shape City

One sunny morning, Leo's teacher gave the class an exciting challenge. "Find as many shapes as you can in your neighborhood," she said. Leo, with his trusty notebook and colorful pencil, was ready for the adventure. He decided to take his dog, Rocky, along for the fun. Together, they set off to explore Shape City.

As Leo walked down the street, he spotted a circle in the wheels of a parked car. He quickly sketched it in his notebook. Next, he found squares in the windows of a tall building. Rocky wagged his tail and sniffed out a star shape on a fire hydrant. Leo laughed and gave Rocky a pat for being such a good helper.

Leo met his friend Mia, who pointed out triangles on the rooftops. "I didn't see those!" Leo exclaimed with a smile. His other friend, Sam, showed him rectangles in the street signs. Leo learned that friends can help find shapes he might miss. Together, they discovered even more shapes hidden around them.

As the sun began to set, Leo looked at his notebook full of shapes. He felt proud of all the discoveries he made that day. "Shapes are everywhere!" he thought happily. Leo and Rocky headed home, already planning their next adventure. He knew there were more shapes—and fun—waiting to be found.
