Ben’s Big Cereal Spill

Ben was a curious little boy who loved to do things on his own. One morning, he decided he wanted to pour his own cereal. He watched as Mom did it every day and thought, 'I can do that too!' So, he reached for the big cereal box with determination. His heart was full of excitement.

Ben lifted the cereal box high above the bowl. Suddenly, the box tilted too far, and whoosh! The cereal spilled everywhere, covering the table like a crunchy carpet. Ben felt a little sad and whispered, 'Oops.' He looked at Mom, unsure of what to do next.

Mom smiled warmly and said, 'It’s okay, Ben! Let’s practice together.' She showed Ben how to hold the box with both hands. 'Nice and slow,' she instructed. Ben nodded, feeling encouraged and ready to try again. They practiced pouring with an empty box first.

This time, Ben held the cereal box carefully and poured slowly. The cereal landed perfectly in the bowl with no spills! 'I did it!' Ben cheered, feeling big and strong. Mom clapped her hands and said, 'Great job, Ben!' Ben was happy and ready to try again tomorrow.
