John Jr visits Alabama

John Jr. was so excited to visit the USS Alabama, a big ship from World War II. As he walked around, he imagined what it would be like to be a sailor on the ship. He learned about the history of the ship and felt proud of the brave sailors who had served on it. The huge cannons and the tall masts made him feel like a real adventurer.

After exploring the USS Alabama, John Jr. felt hungry. He and his family went to a cozy restaurant in Mobile. They ordered delicious seafood and John Jr. tried fried shrimp for the first time. He loved it! The friendly waiter even brought him a special dessert. John Jr. felt happy and grateful for the tasty meal.

The next day, John Jr. and his family went to another restaurant in Mobile. This time, they tried some mouth-watering barbecue. John Jr. was amazed by the smoky flavors and the juicy ribs. To his surprise, the chef gave him a tour of the kitchen and even let him help sprinkle some special spices on the food. It was a day full of yummy surprises!

As their visit to Alabama came to an end, John Jr. felt a little sad to leave. He had enjoyed every moment of his trip, from the grand ship to the scrumptious meals. But he knew that he would always keep the memories close to his heart. With a big smile, he waved goodbye, feeling grateful for the wonderful time he had in Alabama.
