Little Glowfly

Every night, Glowfly would look up at the sky. The stars twinkled brightly, and the moon shone with a grand, silvery light. Glowfly felt small and unimportant next to their brilliance. Its own glow was just a faint flicker in the vast darkness. Glowfly wished it could shine as brightly as the stars and moon.

One evening, the sky grew dark as thick clouds covered the stars and moon. The world was plunged into total darkness, and the creatures were afraid. They couldn't find their way home or see each other. Glowfly watched the worried animals and felt a tug at its tiny heart. It decided to do something brave.

Glowfly fluttered through the night, lighting its path with a soft glow. It found a family of mice, lost and scared. With gentle encouragement, Glowfly guided them back to their cozy burrow. Next, it helped an owl find a safe tree to perch on. Glowfly's light, though small, was making a big difference.

As the night went on, Glowfly realized its glow was special. It brought comfort and security to those in need. Glowfly no longer felt envious of the stars and moon. Its small light was unique and essential in its own way. Glowfly learned that everyone has a gift, no matter how small, that can make a difference.
