The Mysterious Map
Lola's Adventure
In a little town called Clondalkin, in Dublin, Ireland, there lived a five-year-old girl named Lola. Lola had long brown hair that bounced as she played, and her eyes were a beautiful hazel-green, always shining with a spark of mischief. Lola loved to laugh, joke, and be a little bit wild!
One sunny Saturday morning, Lola jumped out of bed with a great big grin. She ran into the living room and gave her Mam, Nikita, a big hug. Her Dad, Wayne, was making breakfast and smiled at her with a wink. “What adventure are we having today, Lola?” he asked

Lola thought for a moment and said, “Can we jump on the trampoline and play on the swings? And then… maybe a swim?”
Nikita laughed. “Sounds perfect, but first, breakfast!”
After breakfast, Lola ran to the garden where her trampoline stood, big and bouncy, just waiting for her. She climbed up and started jumping higher and higher. Her cousins, Bobby and Brad, soon joined her. With their red hair flashing in the sun, they started doing silly dance moves. “Let’s do the Wolverine and Deadpool dance!” Bobby shouted, as they all started to move and groove to “Bye Bye Bye,” giggling and wiggling around.

Lola’s grandparents were watching nearby—Nanny G, Nana Wendy, and Granda Kit Kat. They clapped and laughed as the kids put on their little dance show. Her aunty Enya and uncles, Dylan and Jamie, cheered them on too.
After dancing, Lola raced over to the swings. She swung high, toes reaching for the sky, her long brown hair flying back. She pretended she was a superhero, flying over Dublin, looking down on all her family and friends. When she got down, she gave her nose a little pick (she always did!) and let out a big “ripper” of a fart, which made her cousins laugh and hold their noses.

Soon, it was time for Lola’s favorite activity with her dad—swimming lessons! Wayne took her to the pool every week, and Lola was becoming a brilliant little swimmer. She swam across the pool, her arms splashing, her smile huge. “Look, Da, I’m as fast as a fish!” she called out. Wayne clapped and cheered her on, so proud of his little swimmer.
Later that evening, as they were all winding down, Lola picked up her tablet to play Roblox. She invited her cousins, Bobby and Brad, to join her. Together, they explored Roblox worlds, solving puzzles, laughing, and even pretending to be superheroes like Wolverine and Deadpool. They talked about how cool it would be to invite their favorite character, Kevin McCallister from Home Alone, into their game too!
As the day came to an end, Lola snuggled up with her Mam and Dad, feeling happy and loved. She thought of all her family—her Nannys, her Granda, her cousins, her aunty and uncles—and knew she was the luckiest girl in the world.
With a tired but happy yawn, Lola whispered, “I love my family,” before drifting off into a sweet dream about tomorrow’s next adventure.
