Mika and Mara learn to share!

Mika and Mara, best friends so true. Loved to play outside, under the sky so blue. Out and about their laughter so loud. Mara pointed up at the cloud, " It looks like a dinosaur." Said Mika laughing aloud. Under the bright and sunny sky, Mika and Mara raced to the tree nearby. "I'll race you to the tree!" Mara shouted with a giggle of glee. Mika nodded with a smile so wide, And off they went with the wind by their side. But after reaching the tree, they sat side by side for a break. To have a sweet and tasty snack.

But as Mika reached into her bag For a sweet and tasty candy snack Mara took out her packet of crisps sad. And felt really mad. "Aww, I didn't get a chocolate!" Mara cried. Mika held her chocolate bar out to Mara and sat by her side. With a big, wide smile, Mika looked at Mara. "Let's share Mara!" She laughed. Mara thought for a moment just a little unsure. But then saw Mika smile and never felt more sure. "We'll break it in half and my crisps!"

So they split theirs snacks, salty and sweet. It was quite the treat! They laughed and ate, no longer unhappy. Sharing their snack made them both so happy! From that day on, they learnt something new! Sharing with friends makes the world bright and the sky blue. So the next time you have a snack keep it fair. Remember Mika and Mara and always share!
