A Noisy Morning
My roommates an elephant
My roommate's big, my roommate's loud,
He stomps and shakes the whole room proud!
With floppy ears and feet so wide,
There's nowhere left for me to hide
1
Charles never thought he’d share his space,
With an elephant—what a case!
But when Dave moved in, oh what a treat,
Life got loud and fun and sweet!
They laughed, they played, from dusk till dawn,
With silly surprises all day long!
2
Each morning, David gives a toot,
A trumpet blast—so big, so cute!
Charles runs to see what’s in store,
Adventure’s waiting at the door!
They race outside, so full of cheer,
With sunshine bright and fun so near!
3
Charles makes breakfast, nice and hot,
A yummy meal—they love it a lot!
But David’s trunk, so big and round,
Sometimes knocks things to the ground!
They laugh and clean the mess with care,
Then sit to eat the treats they share!
4
Charles loves to teach his friend some games,
And David tries to learn their names.
They hide, they seek, they count to ten,
Then laugh and start it all again!
With each new game, their friendship grows,
A bond as strong as David’s toes!
5
Some mornings, Charles needs time to rest,
A little quiet feels the best.
So David hums a soft, sweet tune,
That fills the room like a warm cocoon.
With kindness, they both understand,
Respecting needs hand in hand!
6
One day a neighbor stopped on by,
And heard a trumpet loud and high!
She gasped and said, “What could that be?”
Charles laughed, “That’s just Dave and me!”
She smiled and stayed to chat a while,
Enjoying friendship, laugh, and style!
7
Charles and David ran to the park,
Playing games from dawn till dark.
They fed the birds and laughed with cheer,
As people smiled when Dave danced near.
When the sun set, they strolled back home,
With happy hearts—no more to roam!
8
Charles had chores all around the place,
But David helped with strength and grace.
With his trunk, so strong and tall,
He carried boxes, big and small.
Side by side, they worked with cheer,
Their teamwork made the tasks disappear!
9
After a busy day of fun,
Charles and David sat in the sun.
By the lake, so calm and deep,
They listened to the sounds that sweep.
The ripples danced, the air was sweet,
In quiet moments, they felt complete.
10
Charles and David loved to play,
Sharing jokes and fun each day.
Their laughter filled the air so sweet,
Even mornings noisy and fleet.
They learned that friends, so different, too,
Make the best memories, bright and true!
11
As the day came to an end,
Charles and David, side by side, did spend.
Their house was filled with love and cheer,
With stories of adventures near.
They knew each day would bring new fun,
And promised to care, just like they've done!
