The Greedy Dog

Once upon a time, in a cozy little town, there lived a greedy dog. He was always looking for food and never shared with anyone. One sunny day, while wandering around, he found a juicy bone. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he held the bone tightly in his mouth.

The greedy dog trotted towards the river, eager to enjoy his tasty find in peace. As he reached the riverbank, he glanced into the water and saw his reflection. Thinking it was another dog with an even bigger bone, he growled and barked, hoping to scare the other dog away.

Startled by the growls, the bone slipped from the greedy dog's mouth and plopped into the river. To his dismay, the bone vanished into the depths of the water. The greedy dog realized that his own greed had caused him to lose his precious treasure. He felt a pang of regret as he watched the ripples fade away.

From that day on, the greedy dog learned to be content with what he had and to share with others. He became a kind and generous friend to all the animals in the town. And whenever he passed by the river, he remembered the day he let go of his greed and found true happiness in being grateful for what he had.
