The Monster Under the Bed

Ella decided to talk to her mom about her fears. Her mom gave her a special flashlight that shone with a warm, friendly light. "This will help you see that there's nothing to fear," her mom said with a smile. Ella felt a little braver with the flashlight in her hand. She decided to face her fear that very night.

That night, Ella held her flashlight tight and peeked under the bed. She took a deep breath and turned on the light. To her surprise, there was no monster, just her old teddy bear and some dust bunnies. Ella realized the monster was only in her imagination. She laughed at her silly fears.

From that night on, Ella had a new bedtime routine. She would shine her flashlight under the bed and say goodnight to her teddy bear. Ella felt proud of her bravery and slept soundly every night. She learned that sometimes, our fears are not as scary as they seem. Ella was no longer afraid of the dark.
