The Quest for Water

The Thirsty Crow

Once upon a scorching summer's day, a clever crow was flying over the lush green forest, searching for water. The sun was relentless, and the streams had dried up. The crow's throat was parched, and his wings felt heavy in the heat. Despite the discomfort, the crow did not give up, knowing that perseverance was key.

After hours of searching, the crow's sharp eyes spotted a glimmer in the distance. It was a jug, half-buried under a tree, with a little water at the bottom. The crow tried to drink from it, but his beak couldn't reach the water. He paused, thinking hard about what to do next.

An idea flashed in the crow's mind. He picked up small pebbles and dropped them one by one into the jug. Slowly, the water level began to rise. After dropping many pebbles, the water was high enough for the crow to drink. His plan had worked!

Quenching his thirst, the crow felt a wave of relief. He had not only found water but had also overcome a challenge through his ingenuity. The crow learned that no problem is too big if one is clever and persistent. With a satisfied heart, he flew back into the sky, ready for new adventures.
