The Ultimate School Poetry contest
One sunny morning, Myra heard an exciting announcement over the school's loudspeaker. The Ultimate School Poetry Contest was happening, and everyone was invited to participate. Myra's heart raced with joy. She loved writing poems. 'This is my chance to share my poems with everyone,' she thought, her mind buzzing with ideas.

After school, Myra sat under her favorite tree with a notebook and pencil. She thought about the themes she loved: nature, friendship, and dreams. Ideas fluttered in her mind like butterflies. 'I want my poem to touch people's hearts,' she decided, starting to scribble down her thoughts.

Over the next few days, Myra worked hard on her poem. She wrote, erased, and rewrote, aiming for perfection. Finally, she had a draft she felt good about. 'It's not perfect, but it's a start,' she told herself, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Myra decided to ask her family for feedback. Her parents and little brother listened intently as she read her poem aloud. 'It's beautiful, Myra,' her mom said, 'but maybe you can make the ending stronger?' Grateful for the advice, Myra smiled. 'Back to the drawing board!' she exclaimed, eager to improve her work.

A week later, the finalists were announced during morning announcements. Myra held her breath, waiting. 'And our finalists include... Myra!' the principal announced. Myra's classmates cheered, and she felt a burst of happiness. 'I did it!' she thought, her heart soaring.
