Tully the Turtle Goes to School

Tully the Turtle was tucked in her seaweed bed, wide awake. She was nervous about her first day of school. 'What if I don't make any friends?' she worried. Her sparkly eyes glistened in the moonlight.

On her way to school, Tully met Fiona, a mermaid with a rainbow tail. 'Hi, I'm Fiona! Are you going to school too?' Fiona asked with a smile. Tully nodded, feeling a bit less nervous. Together, they swam towards the coral school.

Their first lesson was about the ocean currents. Tully found it fascinating and listened intently. 'I love learning about the ocean!' she whispered to Fiona. Fiona smiled, happy to see her new friend enjoying school.

At lunch, Tully shared her seaweed sandwiches with Fiona. They laughed and told stories. Tully felt happy and forgot all about her worries. She was starting to love school.

In art class, they painted seashells. Tully's shell sparkled even more with her new art. 'You're very creative,' Fiona complimented. Tully blushed, feeling proud and grateful.

Suddenly, their teacher announced a surprise test on ocean currents. Tully felt a pang of worry but remembered what she learned. She did her best and hoped for the best. Afterward, Fiona gave her an encouraging hug.

The next day, the teacher handed back the tests. Tully was nervous but then surprised to see she passed with flying colors. 'I did it!' she exclaimed. Fiona cheered, 'I knew you could do it!'

Tully no longer felt afraid of school. She loved learning and making friends. 'School is fun,' she thought as she swam home. Her heart was full, and her turquoise shell sparkled brighter than ever.
